Teaser Tuesday: Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!

I thought my part in this particular episode was definitely over, so I left them behind in the kitchen. I heard my dad say, "I'm going to kill all of them." And my mother said, voice full of tears, "Whatever, Tom."

The end. I probably needed to stop feeding the wolves.

The closer they got, the more dangerous it was for all of us.

I haven't got to this part yet when this post was made, but by the time Tuesday came along, I would know the reason behind this teaser. I heard this book is the best of all the books in the trilogy. I'm excited to find out what made it so good!

If you'd like to buy the book, click your preferred format:

Tell me, have you read this book/trilogy? Did you like it? Why did you like it? Try not to give me spoilers! :)

  1. I haven't read this series yet. I've read mixed reviews, but I'll definitely pick it up someday. The covers have this cool, nature-friendly feel to them. They 'linger' in my mind!

Thank you for stopping by, and happy reading!:)

    1. Mixed reviews? Maybe I just haven't read enough reviews coz all I hear is good ones :) I'm not a big fan of nature, but the covers ARE cool. In Linger, the font is GREEN! :D definitely a good reason to read it lol

    1. The first book definitely caught my attention... I couldn't stop reading it.. As for this book, there was something interesting about the new character... I'm halfway thru the book I think.

  3. I loved this series! Linger was really good! The ending! OMG I was a little disappointed with the ending to the last book cause things are left a bit open but I love Sam and Grace. They are so cute. Thanks for stopping by My TT!

    1. I'm not reading it as fast as I read shiver... It sounds good so far, but it is a bit slow I guess. I'm so curious about Grace's fever. Gah, I need to read faster.
