I was so excited when Entangled Publishing sent me an invite to participate in this blog tour. Check out my interview and then enter the giveaway to win an e-book copy of this book!
I like the thought of turning a creature normally considered to be evil into a hero. What if demons aren’t necessarily evil? How would a human react to learning this?2. How did you come up with the idea for the story of Blood of the Demon?
The character of Keegan first came to me in a dream. I knew he was a half demon, and not a demon in the biblical sense. My demons are a species of beings from another dimension called Infernum. While they aren’t evil creatures from Hell, I did want them to come from a dark, hellish world that parallels our version of Hell. And so Infernum was born.3. How did you pick the title and cover of your book?
With lots of help from the publisher! BLOOD OF THE DEMON was originally entitled DEMON BORN, but my publisher wanted something more catchy that tied into the book.4. Do you write your own blurb or someone else does it for you?
I write the initial blurb, then it’s revised by the editorial staff and polished until it shines. :)5. What would you advice a new writer who is struggling to get the ideas flowing and into the screen?
Keep writing. It may seem difficult at first, but everything gets easier with practice. Also find a source of inspiration, whether it’s from movies, reading, or simply going out and observing others. I get lots of my ideas from watching television!6. Anything you would like to ask our readers?
Yes! I’d love to know, what are your favorite types of paranormal heroes, and why?

Blurb:
Keegan lives to exact revenge on the evil demon who sired and abused him. When his father devises a plan to bring on the apocalypse, he and his three half-brothers, interdimensional bounty hunters for the Elden Council, are charged with capturing and delivering their father for punishment.
Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she's also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon's Most Wanted List. And no one wants her more than Keegan's father.Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he'll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics-the far deadlier, uncontrollable half-when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks. The one woman he'll never be able to resist.
About the Author:

Formally trained as a corporate and real estate lawyer, I practiced law for 5 years before finally admitting to myself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. As an avid reader of romances and supernatural stories, I knew I wanted to write urban fantasy and paranormal romance. Tales of vampires, demons, and other supernatural beings ensued.
I’m currently working on the Demons of Infernum series, a series of paranormal romance novels featuring four sexy half-demon brothers and their reluctant heroines.
When not writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son in our home state of Florida, as well as searching out things that go bump in the night. I still haven’t found any, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
If I ever do find evidence of the supernatural, it remains to be seen whether I’ll jump around in excitement, or run screaming in terror (but I’m betting on the latter)!

I've become bored with vamps lately, so it's shifters and demons at the moment.

I still like Vampires but not as obsessed with them as before.. Still obsessed with Vampire Diaries though :D Can't wait til October.
I prefer vampires than shifters... I just prefer the human skin than fur..
good luck!!! :)
I like paranormal coz you get to live in a different world than your own :)
I've gotta go with like shifters and demons. I used to love vampires but they've been so overdone now. But pretty much if its a paranormal romance.. I'll read it. :) I've also gotten into some fairies. I think their really neat. I just love stuff thats sort of out of the box and unique. Like it your going to do vampire's switch it up a bit. :) Thanks so much!

Popping in to thank Arianne for the interview! And yes, I'm obsessed with the Vampire Diaries too, lol.
Vanessa, I'm a fan of shifters too...and of course demons!
Desi, vampire books never go out of fashion, do they?
Steelerlady, you're a woman after my own heart. Yeah, pretty much any type of paranormal does it for me, too.
VampedChik, I thought the same thing about vampires a few years ago, and then I discovered Jeaniene Frost, lol.
My favorite type of paranormal heroes are werewolves because they figure the wild side of human beings.
I have a thing for hot werewolves. Thanks for the giveaway.
Lately I've found myself reading more werewolf/shifter stories than vampire stories, but I enjoy both. Maybe the reason is the animalistic nature of them. LOL But paranormal stories in general are my favorites. :)
Thanks for the giveaway.
