TV Review: Vampire Diaries - Memorial

Last Thursday's episode of Vampire Diaries was not as intense as the first episode. TVD is just a hit and miss for me all the time. Anyway, check out my commentary!

Stefan and Elena had their first makeout session in the woods! That was hot, if not for Elena's puking.

Damon: "Well, don't look at me. I always take credit for killing people."
Damon's paranoid self just might have saved him from the vampire hunter.
Damon has his own way of grieving. It's sad that people doesn't see it.

Stefan and Damon's differences really were highlighted in this episode.

I was really proud of Matt when he offered himself to Elena to feed from.

Tyler: "Grieve sex. It's healthy."
When Tyler went into the podium, I just immediately knew he was going to sacrifice himself, since he won't really die, just a little hurt.

I'm so proud of Caroline bringing Elena back into the present and past the bloodlust. She got through to Elena when Stefan and Damon couldn't.

Jeremy is supernatural on his own. He saw the hunter's tattoo when mere humans couldn't. I wonder what other kinds of powers would develop for Jeremy.

  1. I excited to see where Jeremy's character goes. It's been fun watching him grow up.

  2. I'm loving the new season way more than last season. I love Elena being a vamp. I miss Alaric and Daemon's bromance! I know Daemon grieves in his own way and that is fine but he is always such a jerk to people instead of letting them in. That will always be his downfall. I love the make-out scene with Stefan and Elena. They are so cute but all her puking was really gross! The poor actress. I'm sure that stuff tastes horrible.

    1. This season is definitely more challenging for Nina as an actress, and she's pulled through each episode. She's just so amazing. I love her.
